„My pediatric dentist recommended this practice because my son (5 years old) had his first toothache, and his regular dentist couldn't reach him. She tried very gently, but at this practice, they wanted to restrain him to force his mouth open. When I heard that this would only be possible with anesthesia, and that he would be getting an IV, not a mask, I knew it wouldn't work. I brought it up, and the response was simply that they would restrain him. That was the end of it for me. The pre-operative consultation was just a matter of "Here are the paperwork, please read and bring it with you," but there was no explanation, and my questions couldn't be answered. Most importantly, they insisted I bring cash on the day of the surgery to pay myself. According to my insurance company, they would cover everything, but the practice only offered services for self-pay patients, and when I inquired, they said, "Yes, that's how it's always done." The medical assistants are very nice and accommodating, and the practice is wheelchair accessible, clean, and attractive. Nevertheless, I wouldn't go back if my child is restrained during treatments just to make him cooperate and cry.“
